Basic Invite - Anything but basic wedding stationary!

If you just got engaged and are looking for customizable invitations for your wedding, bridal shower, or any other special event, then I highly recommend checking out www.basicinvite.com . I wish I knew about this company before I got married!

Basic invite is a family owned company that has been printing wedding and other special event stationery for over 15 years. A few things about them that stood out to me were the fact that they have almost unlimited color options, allow customers to print a sample before placing an order, and offer free websites to share event info and capture addresses from guests.

1. Tons of Customizable Options:

If you have a specific vision in mind for your save the dates, wedding invitations, or bridal shower, then Basic Invite should be able to make your wedding stationery vision come to life! They offer a save the date magnet as well if you prefer that over traditional stationery.

They have over 180 colors you can choose from when customizing your invites, and you can instantly see a preview of it online. Their foil cards are available in gold, silver, and rose gold. You can choose flat or raised foil on all of Basic Invite’s foil design options. On top of customizing the color of the invites, you also have over 40 different color choices for envelopes ensuring the total design is cohesive! 2. Ability to Order Printed Samples:

After you design your invitation, if you want to see how it looks and feels in person you are able to order a printed sample. This is great to see the colors and quality of the paper prior to ordering a large amount and making a final commitment! You may want to make some changes once you feel and see it in real life versus on your computer screen.

PRO TIP: Make sure you do not order as many invites as people on your guest list! Most people you are inviting may be a couple or could live together, so make sure to take that into consideration when figuring out the number of invites to order. You would only need 1 invite per couple (instead of ordering 2 separate invites for each person). I know I made that mistake and ended up with way too many extras! Although, you will want to save an extra invite for your photographer for when they do your “detail shots”.

3. Free Customizable Wedding Website:

They have tons of super cute customizable options of websites for weddings or other special events that allow you to share important information about the event while also capturing addresses for guests! You can just share a link on your social media or via an email / text to gather your friends and family’s addresses and make sure they know all the details.

Once the addresses are submitted, they’re stored in your customer account and can be selected during the design process. You can select to add recipient address printing at no cost on all your card orders!
